AEKU disposable range which to pick: noob edition (0.15 ohm dual mesh)
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering which to pick, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting aeku disposable range options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Battery behaviour is where the Beipu B2 earns its keep: the 3000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.
The mesh tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 35:65 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 4.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Expect roughly 1641 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Singapore is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
Airflow control on the Beipu B2 is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. The Matte Sand finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
What surprised us most was how little the 2.0 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 66 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 2.0 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
