AEKU disposable range upgrades and spare parts (40 W)
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering steeping, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Search results for aeku disposable range in Singapore are crowded, which is why this page focuses on what actually changes the experience. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Local availability in Singapore shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Airflow control on the IQOS III is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Charging over USB-C takes about 69 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the IQOS III earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over USB-C.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.2 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Cobalt Blue finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For daily vapers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 70:30 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Strawberry Cream: creamy, sweet, described as smooth strawberry custard with a light dairy note. On a 70:30 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
