AEKU disposable range flavour notes in Singapore (3.5 ml)
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering flavour notes, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Comparing this against a 30:70 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
The 6.5 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 443 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Singapore is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
The build quality on Robust Pro is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 82 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For travel users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 30:70 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Robust Pro earns its keep: the 800 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 90 and recharges over Micro-USB. Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Raspberry Lemonade: sweet, tart, described as summer lemonade with a raspberry accent. On a 30:70 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
