Choosing AEKU disposable range: value hunters edition
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering price breakdown, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Singapore buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation.
Most Singapore buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Singapore, availability of the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The mesh tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
The build quality on Innokin Sceptre is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 75 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 50:50 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 50:50 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Pineapple Ice Cream: creamy, sweet, described as dairy-style pineapple dessert. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
