AEKU disposable range reviews: tested in Singapore (Peach Blossom) (v2)
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering gift ideas, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Battery behaviour is where the Suorin Air Plus earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 65 and recharges over Micro-USB.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Singapore, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price.
Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Suorin Air Plus is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 65, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Charging over Micro-USB takes about 25 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.5 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Melon Cucumber: fresh, light, described as clean cucumber under sweet melon. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
